Hasbro to Top Spot for Fourth Consecutive Year

Global branded play leader Hasbro,
Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), has taken the top spot in the 2012-2013 Climate
Counts Climate Scores rankings in the Toys and Children's Products
sector for the fourth consecutive year. Hasbro also received high honors
as the most improved company in the rankings, achieving a 21 point
year-over-year gain as a result of the Company's work to improve
sustainable packaging and reduce greenhouse gas emissions over the last
year.

The annual Climate Scores rankings recognize companies across 17 sectors
for their efforts to stop climate change through initiatives that
decrease carbon emissions and improve operational sustainability. The
index ranks companies on a scale of zero to 100 for their practices to
reduce global warming, based on current carbon footprint and milestones
and strategies to reduce environmental impact.
Environmental sustainability, including a focus on reducing greenhouse
gas emissions, is a core element of Hasbro's industry-leading Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Within the last year, Hasbro has
met and exceeded its goal to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 10
percent from a 2008 baseline, and has achieved a 20 percent reduction to
date.
